How long does Zapier keep my Zap history?
Zapier keeps Zap history for 29 to 69 days on every plan, and guarantees at most 60 days and 10,000 runs; only Enterprise admins can change it, and only to 7–30 days. Nothing older can be recovered, so Zapier itself says to export regularly: in Zap history, select the runs (5,000 at a time) and choose Download, as CSV or JSON. agentreceipt reads that file on your computer.
Where your Zapier history lives
- Every Zap run, with its status and steps, is in Zap history.[2]
- Each run's tasks count against your plan: a task is one successful action, and errored or filtered steps are free.[6]
- Zapier Agents' runs are under All activity, a pod's activity, or one agent's Activity tab; no retention or export is documented for them.[4]
How long it lasts
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| Zap history, every plan | 29 to 69 days[1] |
| What Zapier guarantees | at most 60 days and 10,000 runs[2] |
| Enterprise | admins can set 7 to 30 days[1] |
| Zapier Agents activity | not documented[4] |
How to keep a copy
- Open Zap history and tick the runs, or Select all (5,000 at a time).[3]
- Choose Download and pick CSV or JSON. Zapier emails you the file.[3]
- Repeat before the oldest runs you need pass 29 days; the account data export only lists download links for run data.[5]
Read the downloaded file locally, by Zap: runs, failures and tasks:
$ npx --allow-git=root github:agentwares/agentreceipt zap-history.csv
agentreceipt reads the CSV or JSON Zap history export: each run's Zap, time and status, and tasks where the file has them (a task is one successful action, Zapier's billing unit). The export lists runs, not what each step sent or deleted, so those read "not recorded". Zapier does not document the CSV's column names, so agentreceipt matches them by name.
npx --allow-git=root github:agentwares/agentreceipt reads Claude Cowork's audit.jsonl files, Claude Code and Codex session logs, and any Zapier, Make or n8n export you name, on your computer, and prints the week by folder or project: sends, writes, deletes, approvals, failures, tokens and cost. A field a log does not hold reads "not recorded". No account, no network request, no LLM; it sends nothing. --pdf receipt.pdf writes a local, unsigned copy. Free and MIT licensed.
Keep a signed record that survives a downgrade or a shutdown — Solo $19/mo, Team $99/mo, or $29 once at a shutdown.
Not built yet. It would keep a copy of what your agents did outside the vendor, signed so a client or a boss can check it was not edited, and still there after a plan ends or a vendor closes: names, times and counts, never the text of your messages or files. If you would pay for it, say so with one click. The click is counted; nothing else is sent or stored.
