What to ask before you buy
- How people sign in: a shared password, single sign-on, or a list of email addresses or domains. At Better Stack, single sign-on costs five times a password.
- What is counted: pages, signed-in subscribers or seats. A page per customer multiplies whichever it is.
- Who sets the status: a person, or checks the page runs itself.
agentcheck and private pages
agentcheck's pages are public today, kept current by its own checks. Private and per-customer pages are not built. If you would pay a flat monthly price for them, the button below says so; it records one click and nothing else.
Not built yet: notifying your subscribers (email, RSS or webhook), a custom domain, private and per-customer pages, a Statuspage-compatible summary.json, posting incident updates by hand or from an agent, and importing your subscribers. If you would pay a flat monthly price for these, say so with one click. The click is counted; nothing else is sent or stored.
What you get today
- A public status page and an SVG badge, kept current by agentcheck's own checks: each component you give a URL is fetched on a schedule, and a component that fails two checks in a row (no answer, or not 2xx) opens an incident that closes itself when it recovers. Nobody has to post anything.
- An incident history from the day you import; incidents are kept. Machine-readable state at
trust.json. - Free, $0: one page, up to 10 checked components, checked hourly, 7 days of check history. No email, no GitHub, no card.
- Starter, $29 a month, flat: up to 3 pages, checks every 5 minutes, Slack and Discord alerts, 30 days of history. No plan counts subscribers.
